✨ Fresh voices. Timeless wisdom. Meaningful connection. ✨
At the First Congregational Church of Danbury, our Sunday services are led by Yale University Master of Divinity students who bring thoughtful insight, compassion, and fresh perspectives to scripture.
Join us Sundays at 10 a.m. to hear these inspiring preachers connect ancient wisdom to the realities of modern life — offering messages that are relevant, uplifting, and engaging for all.
Beverly Love, a 3rd-year student, will take the pulpit. Her message: "Loving to the End: Glorification & Jesus' Last Discourse."
Jesus' prayer for his disciples before his ascension mentions glory and glorification multiple times. Beverly will answer three questions:
1)How can we understand God's being glorified in Jesus so that Jesus glorifies God?
2)How do we understand Jesus praying to be glorified through his disciples and what does that mean for us?
3)What does in mean to become one with each other as God and Christ are one?
Doug and Ginny Hartline will lead us in music.
