
The Danbury Music Centre presents a concert by Connecticut Brass! We are pleased to welcome our friends from the Connecticut Brass this weekend on Sunday, September 6th at 2 pm.
Connecticut Brass is a unique and exciting 12 piece brass ensemble formed in 2024 by members of the former Danbury Brass Band. Our goal is to entertain and educate the public by providing free concerts at various venues in the greater Danbury, CT area. Connecticut Brass performs original compositions and arrangements written by our own members. Connecticut Brass repertoire spans from Renaissance to Contemporary and includes Jazz and Popular arrangements.Our concert on September 6th, 2 pm at the Danbury Music Centre will include arrangements of music by Holst, Faure, Rodrigo and Vaughan Williams as well as arrangements of popular tunes and marches. In addition, two original compositions for brass written by our own Ernie Adams and Joe Stamboni will be premiered!We hope to see you on September 6th for an enjoyable afternoon of brass music!
Admission is free-Donations will be gratefully accepted at the door.
Parking is available on Main Street or in the Bardo Parking Garage directly behind the DMC on Library Place. Accessible parking spaces are located in the garage adjacent to the elevators on each level. The concert is approximately 1.5 hours long.
Please use the back entrance of the building. The recital hall is fully accessible by outdoor ramp and elevator.
