The current legislature makes decisions that their constituents do not agree with. I intend on using my voice to convey what the People want, not what is politically beneficial.

What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
I am not a politician. I have been living in the wake of the decisions being made and watching as it affects people on a daily basis. I will be a public servant as it should be.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
During my career, I have held two different roles at two vastly different types of businesses simultaneously. Each of these roles added to my ability to make difficult decisions and ask difficult questions. From the boardroom to the bar room, I am able to converse candidly with everyone. More important than that, I have a willingness to listen and do the right thing, as it should be.

Do you believe Connecticut needs reform when it comes to electric utility oversight? What steps, if any should be taken?
I'd first ask why a foreign company has 10% ownership in our utility company. I'd also like to change the availability of battery backups for solar power, as unused electricity goes back to the utility company to be used as they deem necessary. I would hold them financially accountable for not taking the action to be proactive and prepared as they said they would after 2011 storms.

What steps should state government take to bolster economic recovery from the coronavirus pandemic for local businesses?
Open the state with necessary precautions in place and not bank on federal funding to solve the underfunded pension problem. Work to address restrictions and regulations that negatively impact business owners. Provide an incentive tax credit for registering their businesses in Connecticut, as opposed to Delaware or other tax localities. Each company registered in another tax district is money out of our pockets.

List other issues that define your campaign platform:
School choice, Back the Blue, removing the tax on social security and pensions to allow more seniors to retire here, transparency into state spending and operations, leaner government, and a chance for CT to finally move towards a sound economic future.

What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
Pro-Choice (it is a moral decision), fully support 2A, for small business owners, for full transparency including voting against any bills adding FOIA exemptions written into bills to mask how taxpayer funds are spent.
