H&M Clothing Returns to Danbury Mall

The Swedish-owned clothing store shuttered its Danbury Fair Mall outlet in 2014, but has now climbed back into the retail ring.

DANBURY, CT — Swedish-owned apparel giant H&M, which closed an outlet there in 2014, is re-opening at the Danbury Fair Mall on Thursday, Aug. 22, at noon.

The first 500 shoppers at the grand re-opening will receive an "H&M Access to Fashion Pass" valued at up to $300, which can be applied to their opening day purchases.

Regular store hours will be 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.

The new Danbury storefront joins H&M outlets in Waterbury, Meriden, Farmington, Manchester, Stanford, Trumbull and Milford.

Hennes & Mauritz AB, better known as H&M, operates in 62 countries, and has become known in recent years for its sales campaign collaborations with pop stars such as Lana Del Rey, Beyoncé, and Katy Perry.
