Connecticut Doctor Needs a Kidney

Anthony Mongillo, MD needs a living donor kidney to live.

Tony is in end-stage renal failure and on peritoneal dialysis 9-11 hours a day.

Only a kidney transplant can save him. An extraordinary man, Tony has dedicated his life to helping others and saving lives. He is very religious and has done so much good, helping so many. Now he needs our help.

Tony maintained a private practice in Bridgeport, as an Internist and geriatrician. He worked with a ministry helping battered women and those who could not afford medical care. He served as the Corporate Medical Advisor to Sikorsky Aircraft for 39 years. He was forced to retire due to his medical condition and misses working.

Tony is a loyal friend and a devoted family man. He raised his daughter and handicapped son after losing his wife at a young age. He has two grandsons that light up his life and he wants to live to for them.

Living donors save lives and make miracles happen! A person only needs one kidney to lead a healthy life. It is the gift of life!
