Crashes and Collisions Cause Injuries, Snarl Danbury Traffic

DANBURY, CT — Multiple motor vehicle accidents are closing roads and sending motorists to the hospital on Tuesday morning, the News-Times is reporting.

Fire, police and EMS responded to an accident near 188 White Street shortly after 9:03 a.m. Tuesday, with at least one person transported to the hospital.

Less than fifteen minutes later, a vehicle collided head-on with a dump truck near 24 Clapboard Ridge Road. That mishap also sent a motorist to the hospital, and shut down access to Clapboard Ridge Road at the Venture Avenue and Beckerle Street intersections.
