The CT Master Chorale, under the direction of Tina Johns Heidrich, announces auditions for our 2024-2025 season.
It begins with our annual Holiday Prelude Concert which will feature a glorious array of holiday music that includes music for Winter, Advent and Hanukkah, festive, joyous carols, big band, spirituals, gospel and more. A special segment will be "Christmas in South America", with selections from Argentina, Brazil, and Venezuela.

Illuminare by Elaine Hagenberg
Released in 2022, Illuminare is an “illuminating” new work that is exquisitely gorgeous and gloriously uplifting. It is the first major composition by this composer, whose music has been described as “soars with eloquence and ingenuity”.

Stabat Mater by Kim André Arnesen
Also released in 2022 Arnesen's Stabat Mater breathes new life into the 13th century Latin hymn, which portrays the Virgin Mary's suffering at the crucifixion of her son. Arnesen's characteristic rich harmonies and memorable melodic lines combine to create this powerful and emotional major new choral work.
