Danbury Arrests: Forgery, Insurance

Bethel Police were busy over the weekend with Danbury residents.

In the early afternoon of Jan. 31, Angel Lopez, 33, and Melissa Lopez, 33, both of Danbury, turned themselves into the Bethel Police on "outstanding warrants related to three incidents that occurred in late 2009. They were both charged with three counts of forgery in the second degree, three counts of illegally obtaining prescription drugs, three counts of conspiracy to commit forgery in the second degree and three counts of conspiracy to illegally obtain a prescription drug. Both Angel and Melissa Lopez were released on written promise to appear in Danbury Superior Court Tuesday.

According to the police, Joseph Dimyan, 57, of Danbury, turned himself into Bethel Police headquarters just before noon Saturday. Dimyan had an outstanding warrant against him, charging him was failure to maintain minimum insurance on a motor vehicle related to an incident that occurred in early December 2010. Dimyan is expected in court on Tuesday, Feb 15.
