Danbury: Change Your Clock, Change Your Battery
A reminder to set your clocks back and change smoke alarm batteries.

This weekend is the end of daylight savings time on Sunday, November 2. Set your clocks back Saturday night and when you do, remember to change the batteries in your smoke alarm, too.
The National Fire Prevention Association reminds us that smoke alarm batteries need to be changed at least twice a year. When there is a fire, smoke spreads fast. Smoke alarms give people time to get out in time.
Test your smoke alarm every month to reduce the risk of dying in a home fire. Smoke alarms more than 10 years old should be replaced.
