Police Chief Says Investigation Continues Into Threats At Danbury High School: Report
Danbury's police chief assured City Council that detectives are investigating threats made against Danbury HS on Friday, the report said.
DANBURY, CT — Danbury's police chief assured City Council that detectives are investigating unfounded threats made against Danbury High School on Friday, according to a report.
A caller to Danbury's emergency dispatch reported gunshots at the school just before 8 a.m. Friday, police said. There was no evidence of shots fired on campus or in the area, according to police. The school went into a shelter-in-place while officers investigated.
There were two threats against the school that were deemed not credible, The News Times reported.

The News Times reported Police Chief Patrick Ridenhour told City Council he was confident detectives will be able to find out who made the threats.
