Danbury Couple's Game Show Debut Postponed by Lovato Illness
When Demi Lovato was hospitalized, Fox decided to pull the episode from the schedule.

DANBURY, CT -- A local couple's national television premiere was pre-empted last night in the wake of pop star Demi Lovato's hospitalization for an apparent drug overdose, The News Times is reporting.
An episode of game show "Beat Shazam" featuring Morning 98Q radio host Rich Minor and his husband Michael Fisher had been scheduled to air on Fox at 8 p.m. Tuesday. Unfortunately, the "Sorry Not Sorry" songstress was slated to appear as well, and the network decided to pull the episode from the Tuesday schedule following the singer's hospitalization for a reported drug overdose.
The episode was filmed in December. The network has given no word whether it will be re-scheduled, or become a "lost episode" of the game show that pits human contestants against the popular app that identifies songs after hearing an opening snippet.
