The Danbury Police Department received a report of a serious motor vehicle collision in the area of 63 Padanaram Road on Wednesday, according to a police report.
Police said a juvenile operator was driving south on Padanaram Road in a 1999 Volvo when he lost control of his vehicle, crossing over the double yellows line into oncoming traffic. The vehicle then struck a 2003 Subaru that was traveling north.
The driver of the Subaru, Joseph Lerose of Danbury, was transported to Danbury Hospital. The juvenile driver and passenger in the Volvo were taken to Danbury Hospital as well.
This accident is being investigated by the Danbury Police Traffic Division. Witnesses are asked to contact Sgt. Rory DeRocco or Officer Marcel Kruijs at (203) 797-2157.
