Danbury Drug Raid Yields Pills, Marijuana For Sale: PD

SWAT conducted a search at a suspected drug dealer's residence, according to police.

DANBURY, CT — A Danbury man was arrested after a SWAT team raided his residence and found drugs, according to police. Investigators had been looking into Corey Heath, 38, after a complaint was made that he was selling drugs in Danbury.

Police executed a search warrant on Dec. 6 around 10 a.m. Police stopped Heath as he entered his parked vehicle outside of his Clearview Avenue residence. His phone was seized along with prescription narcotics, marijuana packaged for sale, several thousand dollars and drug paraphernalia, according to police.

He was charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, risk of injury to a child and other drug offenses. He was held on a $150,000 bond.
