Danbury Farmers Market Announces Grand Opening for 2024 Season

The Danbury Farmers Market will return to the City Center Green for the 2024 season beginning June 22.

DANBURY, CT — The Danbury Farmers Market will return to the City Center Green for the 2024 season beginning June 22, and run every Saturday, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., through Oct. 19.

Organizer CityCenter Danbury is promising over 17 vendors from across Connecticut, with a diverse array of farmers and artisans offering freshly grown produce, eggs, flowers, plants, jewelry, wines and more.

Lazaro Chavez, Executive Director of CityCenter Danbury, said: "This market not only supports local farmers and businesses but also provides a space for the community to come together and enjoy the best of what our region has to offer."

The Danbury Farmers Market will operate rain or shine, moving to the Patriot Garage (21 Delay Street, parking level 4) in the event of inclement weather. Two-hour courtesy parking at the Patriot Garage is provided by Danbury Farmers Market.

The market will kick off its 2024 season with a Grand Opening Event to include a "Ringing of the Bell Ceremony," live music, and children's activities.
