DANBURY, CT — Firefighters held a farewell celebration on Saturday night for one of their own who is moving on to fight fires in New York City.
It has been the "childhood dream" of Daniel Mansdorf, 28, to join the NYFD, according to a post on the department's social media.
Mansdorf will be starting probationary firefighter school on May 13
