Danbury Firefighters Rescue Trapped Dog
Danbury Animal Control received a call about a pooch in distress, and they had to bring in the DFD for the rescue.
DANBURY, CT — Firefighters came to the rescue of a dog trapped down a hole on last week.
Danbury Animal Control reported they had received a call on Thursday that pup Maya had fallen down a 7-foot hole between two walls. First responders found that she had actually fallen about three feet into a "very narrow space, 14 inches wide at best," and could not get out.
Members of the Danbury Fire Department were able to pull apart enough of the wall to free the large dog.
