Danbury House Fire Under Investigation by Fire Marshal
Crews extinguished the blaze in the midst of a snowstorm with 18 inches of the stuff on the ground.

DANBURY, CT — Crews extinguished a house fire in the midst of a snowstorm with 18 inches of the stuff on the ground on Tuesday night.
The Danbury Fire Department received the call at 11:08 p.m., from a homeowner at 6 Sage Road in the Lake Waubeeka community.
First responders who found a house set below the road with heavy flames issuing from the rear window. The firefighters laced a call for assistance to the West Redding Volunteer Fire Department and Ridgefield Volunteer Fire Department, who brought their tanker trucks to assist the DPD personnel.

Also on hand were three tankers and a squad from the volunteer division, as well as a Nuvance Health Danbury Hospital EMS contingent.
No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is undetermined, and under investigation by the Danbury Fire Marshal's Office.
