Danbury To Kick Off 2020 Census Count

State and local officials will join Mayor Mark Boughton on Monday to kick off the 2020 census.

DANBURY, CT — State and local officials will kick off the 2020 census on Monday.

Mayor Mark Boughton will be joined by Lieutenant Governor Susan Bysiewicz and State Senator Julie Kushner in the City Hall Atrium at 10 a.m.

The co-chairs of Danbury’s Complete Count Committee Michelle James, executive director of the Community Action Agency of Western CT and Emanuela Palmares, vice president of the New American Dream Foundation, are also scheduled to attend. Kusher also sits on the Committee.
