Danbury Library Launches 4th Annual Winter Reading Challenge

Danbury Library’s "Winter Reading Expedition" is a simple and delightful game designed for adults and youth in grades K-12 to promote happy, healthy reading habits throughout the winter season.

Beginning December 18, come to the library to sign up and get your specialized Winter Reads Expedition bookmark tracker at either of our information service desks. Borrow, read and record books to move up the levels on your bookmark. Each book you read earns a chance to win one of two gift card prizes. The more you read, the bigger the prize amount.

Participants can achieve Level 1 of the challenge by checking out a book when they sign up for the expedition. Everyone who achieves the first level is invited to join us for a special Free Skate session at the Danbury Hat Tricks Ice Arena on February 9, 2023 from 4-5:30 PM.
