Danbury Man Accused of Sexually Assaulting Minor

A Danbury man is facing sexual assault charges for the alleged abuse of a 14-year-old girl.

According to police, the investigation into the abuse began on April 9. As a result of the investigation, an arrest warrant was obtained for 66-year-old Romulo Medina.

Medina was charged with first degree sexual assault and two counts of risk of injury to a minor. He was given a court set bond of $60,000.

Medina was taken into custody on Sept. 18.
