New York State Police in Troop K said they removed 27 impaired drivers from public roads over the 2019 Memorial Day weekend. A Danbury man is among those accused.

On May 25, State Police from SP Brewster arrested Stephen P. Pohlot, 51, of Danbury, CT, for DWI. He was traveling on State Route 6 in the town of Southeast, when he was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law.

Investigation revealed he was under the influence of alcohol, police alleged.
