Danbury Man Found Guilty of Fatally Stabbing Teen, Sentenced to 14 Years in Prison: Report
The murder occurred during a downtown brawl more than three years ago.

DANBURY, CT - A Danbury man was sentenced to 14 years in prison Wednesday after being found guilty of a fatal stabbing, the Danbury News Times reported.
Emanuel Harris, 20, was found guilty in October of stabbing teenager Luan Pitol, 17, to death three years ago, according to the Danbury News Times. The murder occurred during a downtown brawl in December 2013.
Harris was sentenced to 20 years in prison suspended after 14 years served followed by five years of probation, the Danbury news Times reported. He is also required to donate $500 every year on the anniversary of Pitol’s death to an organization that does work in Brazil.
