He was held on $25,000 bond.

In another incident on Sept. 23, an officer responded to Scissorhands 2 at Main Street for a simple assault complaint. When the officer arrived on scene, he spoke to an employee who told him Penafiel-Buenano was inside the business and allegedly refused to leave.

The employee told police that Penafiel-Buenano came into the business three times that day. The third time he entered the business the employee reportedly told him to leave as he was not there for actual business.

Penafiel-Buenano allegedly became violent and punched him in the face, giving him a swollen lip, police said.

The officer then attempted to speak to Penafiel-Buenano who allegedly became angry and sat up and clenched his fists in a fighting posture. The officer grabbed his left arm and handcuffed his left wrist, police said.

Penafiel-Buenano started to fight with him right after he handcuffed his left wrist, police said.

According to police, he then rolled off the table and put his feet on the floor to stand up. As he was attempting to stand up police said he punched the officer in the mouth and was swinging his fists wildly at the officer rotating his body from side to side.

The officer then deployed his Taser which allowed the officer to subdue the suspect and handcuff him.

Penafiel-Buenano was charged with assault on emergency personnel, interfering with police, interfering with 911 call, third-degree assault, first-degree criminal trespass and second-degree breach of peace.

He is being held on a $10,000 bond.
