Danbury Mayor Boughton Appears In Super Bowl Commercial
Danbury Mayor Mark Boughton appeared in a Superbowl commercial for UPMC, which is where he had a lemon-sized brain tumor removed last year.

DANBURY, CT — Danbury Mayor Mark Boughton appeared in a Superbowl commercial for the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, which is where he had a benign brain tumor the size of a lemon removed.
Boughton recovered quickly from his surgery. He is in his ninth term as mayor and is also running for governor.
"I didn't choose to have a brain tumor, but I did choose UPMC," Boughton said in the commercial.

He recalled during the 61-second commercial about how his neurologist discovered the tumor in July 2017. He eventually turned to renown surgeon Dr. Robert Friedlander after being referred by a number of other physicians.
