Danbury Motor Scooter Driver Injured In Collision With Car
The collision between the car and the motor scooter is under investigation by the Danbury Police Department's Traffic Division.
DANBURY, CT — Police were called to the scene Saturday morning when a motor scooter collided with a Toyota.
On Saturday around 10:54 a.m., the Danbury Police Department responded to a call for a "serious motor vehicle collision" in the area of Nabby Road near Federal Road.
Police officials say that Corey Fenger, 32, of Danbury, was operating a red 49cc motor scooter southbound on Nabby Road when his scooter collided with a 2006 Toyota Avalon, operated by Betty Ziegler, 80, of Brookfield. Fenger was injured in the collision and taken to Danbury Hospital, where he was treated.
