Danbury Motor Scooter Driver Injured In Collision With Car

DANBURY, CT — Police were called to the scene Saturday morning when a motor scooter collided with a Toyota.

On Saturday around 10:54 a.m., the Danbury Police Department responded to a call for a "serious motor vehicle collision" in the area of Nabby Road near Federal Road.

Police officials say that Corey Fenger, 32, of Danbury, was operating a red 49cc motor scooter southbound on Nabby Road when his scooter collided with a 2006 Toyota Avalon, operated by Betty Ziegler, 80, of Brookfield. Fenger was injured in the collision and taken to Danbury Hospital, where he was treated.

The collision is under investigation by the Danbury Police Department’s Traffic Division. Anyone with information related to the collision is urged to call 203-797-2157.
