Danbury Nanny Accused of Intentionally Burning Child Facing New Charges
Additional charges were filed after detectives reviewed footage from a hidden nanny cam.

The Danbury nanny accused of intentionally burning a three-year-old girl is facing additional felony charges, the News Times reports.
Lidia Quilligana, 32 was charged with 15 additional counts of risk of injury to a minor, the paper reports.
According to the paper, the charges were filed after detectives reviewed footage from a hidden nanny cam that showed instances of abuse before the March 27 incident, when Quilligana was initially charged.

She was initially charged with first-degree assault, risk of injury to a minor and third-degree criminal mischief.
Quilligana learned in May that she was pregnant, asking the court to reduce her bail so she can seek medical treatment as she has a history of risky pregnancies, according to the News TImes. She is currently being held on a $1 million bond.
