Danbury Nursing Home Fined: Report

DANBURY, CT — Saint John Paul II Center has been fined $3,270 for an incident that occurred in 2017 after a resident broke an arm in a fall, according to the Connecticut Health Investigative Team.

A nurse aide was moving the resident without using a gait belt when the incident occurred. The resident had also become weaker and should have required two staff for transfers, but her plan of care had not been updated, investigators found.
