Danbury Police, Boy Scouts, Come To Aid Of Single Mom and Family
A single mother of four was struggling to move out of her home. Then some cops and Boy Scouts came to the rescue...
DANBURY, CT — Police and Boy Scouts came to the aid of a single mom trying to move out of her home.
Danbury police responded to a landlord/tenant dispute on June 30. There they say they learned that a single mother of four children was moving to a new address in Danbury, and "was struggling to find a way to move her belongings due to monetary issues."
On July 7, Danbury police officers Hildebrand, Elste, Russotti, Lavallee and Det. Kupchok returned to help the woman move out. They brought along Boy Scouts, as well as members of their own families.

The move was a success, police posted on Facebook, as the good Samaritans "moved the young woman and her children out of a bad living situation and into a new home."
