DANBURY, CT — The Danbury Police Department is hiring.
The PD is seeking P.O.S.T. certified lateral police officers. Applications are being accepted through the police application app online through June 18. The written examination will be held on July 13. There is a $25 fee to apply.

- Must be a current Connecticut P.O.S.T. certified police officer
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License
- At least 21 years of age by the application closing date
- U.S. Citizen
- 20/50 vision in each eye, correctable to 20/20 in each eye and normal hearing without the use of any hearing aid or device
- No felony, class 'A' or class 'B' misdemeanor convictions
Applications must be completed by 11:59 p.m. on June 18, 2019.
