Danbury Popcorn Maker Plots Big Expansion
A possible $6 million round of funding is part of the company's plan to 'significantly expand' its factory in Danbury's Commerce Park.

DANBURY, CT —LesserEvil, a local maker of healthy snack food alternatives, has announced they are raising nearly $1.8 million against a possible $6 million round of funding. The raise-up is part of their plan to "significantly expand" its factory in Danbury's Commerce Park.
The company, based in Framingham, MA, has received investment of an unspecified amount from InvestEco Capital Corp., according to the industry website JustFood.com. The Danbury factory opened in 2013, and moved into larger facilities at Commerce Park last year.
Their products can be found at Costco, ShopRite, Big Y, Chamomile Natural Foods or online.
