Danbury Post Office Reopens after Report of Suspicious Package
The police announced the post office was closed due to an investigation around 9 a.m., It was re-opened shortly before 10 a.m.
DANBURY, CT — Police have reopened the Post Office at 23 Backus Avenue, following an investigation of a suspicious package.
The police announced the post office was closed and undergoing investigation shortly before 9 a.m. on Wednesday. They gave the "all clear" about an hour later.
"The Post Office at 23 Backus Ave is back open and assuming normal business operations. Thank you for your patience and cooperation," the police posted on social media.
