Danbury Power Outages: Nearly 1,000 Residents Lose Service

DANBURY, CT — Nearly one thousand of Eversource's customers in Danbury are without power Thursday, according to the Eversource power outage map.

It's always smart to check your refrigerator temperature after any power outage, no matter how long power is out. According to foodsafety.gov, you should check the temperature inside of your refrigerator and freezer and discard any perishable food items that have been above 40 degrees for two hours or more.
