Danbury Resident Named VP At Connecticut REALTORS®

East Hartford, CT (January 10, 2020) – Scott Cooney, a REALTOR®, Broker-Manager and Branch Vice President at Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Danbury, serves as 2020 Legislative/Political Affairs Division Vice President for the Connecticut REALTORS® (CTR). He has been an active member of both CTR and the Northern Fairfield County Association of REALTORS® (NFCAR) for more than two decades.

Cooney serves as a Director to CTR and on the Executive, Legislative/Political Affairs, Political Fundraising and REALTOR® Grassroots Committees. He is also a Trustee to the REALTORS® Political Action Committee.

Locally, Cooney served as President of NFCAR in 2011 and was named 2014 local REALTOR® of the Year. He resides in Danbury and received the 2013 “Joe Baker Award” for his contributions and support of charitable causes, especially for Veterans.

Cooney commenced his term on January 1, 2020.
