Danbury School Superintendent Says Staffers 'Acted ... Appropriately' in Stopping Fight
Part of the response to the altercation was caught on video by a student.

Danbury school officials determined that staff “acted swiftly and appropriately” in response to an altercation Wednesday between two Danbury High School students.

According to a report on wtnh.com, a statement released by Superintendent Dr. Sal Pascarella said the investigation into the incident, which was recorded on video by a student, found that all staff, including School Resource Officers, did nothing inappropriate in stopping the fight and prevented further injuries.
The television station said it had received a report from a Danbury resident who described the fight and said one of the students was put into a chokehold by a staffer.

Pascarella’s statement said the video shows the staff member initially holding one of the students involved above the shoulders, but he can be seen shifting to a different position.
