Danbury Train Commuters: New Haven Line on MLK Jr. Day: Saturday Schedule with Extra Trains
Also: Off-peak fares apply all day, and the uptown exits of Grand Central North will be closed on Monday.
An announcement from Metro-North:
On Monday, Jan. 19, 2015, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Metro-North Railroad will operate on a Saturday schedule with 32 additional trains.
It is a federal holiday and New York City’s financial markets are closed. But for those people who are working, Metro-North will operate more trains than a normal holiday schedule. Extra New York City-bound trains during the morning and outbound in the late afternoon will be provided.

Metro-North will be operating a Saturday schedule with three extra Hudson Line trains, 14 Harlem Line extras as well as two additional Wassaic connections, and 13 extra New Haven Line trains, including branch connections.

All additional trains will be included in Metro-North Train Time™ app for smart phones and computers.
Off peak fares apply all day.
Additionally, the uptown exits of Grand Central North will be closed all day.
New Haven Line
Westbound (toward Grand Central Terminal)
• 5:28 a.m. from New Canaan, which will make a connection to an existing Saturday train departing Stamford at 5:50 a.m.
• 5:20 a.m. from New Haven, with local stops to Stamford, then 125th Street and GCT.
• 6:07 a.m. from Danbury, which will stop at South Norwalk at 7:00 a.m., then local stops to Stamford, then Greenwich, Port Chester, Rye, then express to 125th Street and GCT.
• 6:25 a.m. from New Haven, with local stops to South Norwalk, then Stamford, 125th Street and GCT.
• 6:10 a.m. from Waterbury, then Bridgeport, then express to Stamford.
• 7:53 a.m. from Stamford, stopping at Greenwich through Larchmont, then 125th Street and GCT.
• 8:33 a.m. from South Norwalk, stopping at Darien through Stamford, then Greenwich through Rye, then 125th Street and GCT.
Eastbound (away from Grand Central Terminal)
• 7:34 a.m. stopping at 125th Street, Fordham, then Greenwich, Stamford, Noroton Heights, Darien, South Norwalk, Westport, and Fairfield through New Haven.
• 8:34 a.m. stopping at 125th Street, Fordham, then Greenwich, Stamford, Noroton Heights, Darien, South Norwalk, Westport, and Fairfield through New Haven.
• 3:50 p.m. stopping at 125th Street, Stamford, Darien, South Norwalk and all stops to Danbury.
• 4:55 p.m. stopping at 125th Street, then Rye to Stamford.
• 5:31 p.m. stopping at 125th Street, then Rye to Stamford.
• The Saturday train leaving at 7:34 p.m. will make a connection to Danbury, leaving South Norwalk at 8:38 p.m.
