DANBURY, CT — City officials have increased a proposed settlement to $325,000 in an ongoing lawsuit involving former Danbury Finance Director David St. Hilaire, according to a report by The News-Times.
The updated offer is a $200,000 increase from a previous proposal and is aimed at resolving claims tied to a dispute over a retirement agreement, the News-Times reported.
The lawsuit alleges St. Hilaire was improperly terminated and that the city failed to honor terms of a retirement deal.
