The dealership is one of the first to accept the form of payment in the region.

DANBURY, CT — A used car dealership in Danbury is accepting Bitcoin as payment. EZ2Drive started accepting the cryptocurrency as payment, but to date no one has used it.
Owner John Fieschi said he believes digital currency will become the norm in another five or 10 years, according to the News-Times.
Bitcoin's value has fluctuated rapidly over the past year. It was valued at $1,000 in Janaury 2017, reached a high of almost $20,000 as one point last year and was around $11,600 as of Monday afternoon, according to Bitcoin.com.
