Danbury Welcomes New Juice Bar To Local Culinary Scene

The mayor participated in a special ribbon-cutting ceremony at the new eatery on Saturday.

DANBURY, CT — A new juice bar officially opened in Danbury over the weekend, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony drawing city leaders to the special event.

The City of Danbury announced the opening of Acai Tribe Juice Bar at 67 Newtown Road.

The small, fast-casual eatery is known for its healthy and fresh açaí bowls and smoothies.

"Açaí Tribe brings a delicious and energizing option to our local food scene. Açaí is packed with antioxidants and flavor, and this new spot delivers both in a big way," wrote the city in an announcement Saturday.

"We encourage residents to stop by, support local entrepreneurs Junio, Walace, and their team, and help give this new Danbury business a warm welcome. We’re proud to see our small business community continue to grow," wrote the city.
