Danbury Woman Accused Of Driving Drunk In New York

SOUTHEAST, NY — State Police in Troop K said they removed 17 impaired drivers from public roadways during the May 12 weekend. Among the accused is a Danbury resident.

On May 11, State Police from SP East Fishkill arrested Kwanda N. McCray, 37, of Danbury, CT, for DWI, and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the 2nd degree, both misdemeanors.

She was traveling on Interstate 684 in the town of Southeast, when she was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed she was under the influence of alcohol, police alleged.
