A Danbury woman and mother of two was recently featured in Glamour Magazine.
Jamie Pleva-Nickerson, 36 was diagnosed with breast cancer when her oldest sister was dying from the disease.
Pleva-Nickerson appeared in Glamour alongside four other women in a unique photoshoot that was undertaken by breast cancer survivor Christine Benjamin. Photo therapy helps women with breast cancer, eating disorders and sexual trauma, shifting their confidence.

While battling cancer, she met her husband and knew she always wanted to have kids. Five years after she froze her eggs and her cancer scans were clear, she and her husband welcomed Gracie and Tessa in Nov. 2014.
“They are absolute perfection,” she told Glamour.
