Danbury Zoners Approve New Car Dealership On West Side

DANBURY, CT — The Zoning Commission has approved a plan to bring another high-end auto dealership to Danbury's west side.

Bruce Bennett Nissan applied to renovate the 78,000-square-foot retail building on Sugar Hollow Road that once housed Sports Authority and Bed, Bath and Beyond. The unanimous decision to approve came during a regularly scheduled meeting of the zoners on Tuesday night, following an earlier thumbs-up vote from the Environmental Impact Commission.

The updated facility will include an office, showroom, 15-bay service area and parts storage.
