DANBURY, CT — The Connecticut Department of Transportation will host a public information meeting next week to present details on a proposed Interstate 84 Flex Lane project in Danbury.

The meeting is scheduled for Thursday, March 5, 2026, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at St. Joseph’s Church Hall, 376 Main St. The meeting can also be accessed virtually.

Transportation officials say the proposed Flex Lane would operate as a dynamic travel lane along Interstate 84, opening or closing based on traffic conditions.
