Downtown Danbury Businesses Eligible For $10K Grants

Danbury is once again accepting applications for the Façade Improvement Grant Program.

DANBURY, CT — The city is once again accepting applications for the Façade Improvement Grant Program, meant to incentivize downtown businesses to gussy up their storefronts.

The maximum amount of any grant is $10,000, with a maximum of $50,000 per property, or 50 percent of the total façade improvement costs, whichever is less.

Eligible businesses are located within the Downtown Revitalization Zone with a non-residential use on the first floor that front on, or have direct access from, a public street or right-of-way. The DRZ includes Main Street from Elmwood Place to Franklin Street, as well as the areas of Ives Street and Lee Hartell Drive.
