Vacant retail space once used by Pier 1 Imports might find new life as a drive-thru eatery and more commercial space, according to a report
DANBURY, CT — Developers would tear down the vacant retail space once used by Pier 1 Imports bordering the Danbury Fair Mall to make way for a drive-thru restaurant and other commercial space, according to a report published in the News-Times.
A representative of the developer spoke before Danbury’s Environmental Impact Commission earlier this week. The building has been vacant since 2020.
The name of the restaurant has not been revealed, as the lease has not yet been signed.
