Driver Found With Heroin, Crack Cocaine During Danbury Traffic Stop: Police
Police said officers found drugs packaged for distribution after stopping a vehicle.
DANBURY, CT — Heroin, crack cocaine and suspected drug-sale proceeds were seized during a traffic stop in Danbury on Monday, according to police.
Officers on the Danbury Police Department's Day Shift Patrol Division pulled over a vehicle in the city and determined the driver had an active arrest warrant.
Police said they seized heroin folds and crack cocaine that were packaged for distribution. Officers also recovered U.S. currency believed to be proceeds from narcotics sales.

The driver was taken into custody without incident and charged, according to police.
