Drop Off Your Bulk Waste in Danbury
The service is available to Danbury residents and residential property owners.
This Saturday, May 2 is Clean City Danbury Day where residents can drop off their bulk waste at one of five locations.
The event takes place from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and anyone is welcome to volunteer to clean-up. Call 203-797-4511 to register.

- City Hall (155 Deer Hill Avenue)
- Rogers Park (by tennis courts)
- WCSU West Side Campus (43 Lake Avenue Ext)
- Public Works Building (53 Newtown Road)
- P.A.L. Building (35 Hayestown Road)
Mayor Mark Boughton is encouraging residents to get Danbury looking good for the spring.

The city will supply volunteers with trash bags and safety vests. No Commercial vehicles or box trucks will be allowed.
Bulk garbage dumping is limited to Danbury residents and residential property owners only.
The following items will not be accepted:
- Electronics
- Hazardous wastes
- Grass clippings or yard debris
- Construction debris
