Just over two years ago, Beyond Wrestling held its inaugural taping over the course of an entire weekend in Elyria, Ohio. The goal, first and foremost, was to have fun. Wrestling was an excuse for dudes to get together and have a good time. That changed in September of 2009 when two unknowns, introduced by Corvis Fear, put the roster on notice after just one contest. The experimental atmosphere - no fans, no restrictions, no politics, no BS - became the ideal platform for the hungriest young wrestlers in the country to make a name for themselves.
Since then, Beyond Wrestling has hosted some of the most progressive, unconventional matches in the country. The buzz amongst industry insiders has been undeniable. Elements of our distinct online presentation, unprecedented content distribution, and unique ranking system, once exclusive to Beyond Wrestling, have been adopted by some of the nation's top wrestling promotions. However, adulation from wrestlers and promoters alike is no longer enough.
When Beyond Wrestling moved operations to the East Coast, we continued to explore new ways to connect with wrestling fans. However, we have encountered countless roadblocks, rendering our increased efforts mostly ineffective. For instance, production time was doubled to release "Gospel of the Boards" on iPPV and DVD. The footage from "World of Hurt," which was recorded with outdated cameras, is now damaged. As a result, we upgraded to high definition equipment for "Miracle Workers” which in turn has led to corrupt, unrecoverable files.

Now the time has finally arrived. Beyond Wrestling is hosting our first ever live event, open to the public. We are going to do everything in our power to maintain the authentic environment that put Beyond Wrestling on the map. If you want to experience Beyond Wrestling live, make it a point to get your butt to Danbury, CT on July 23rd. We guarantee "About Time" will be the most interactive wrestling show you've ever been to. If it is successful, we'll do it again down the line. If not, we'll keep plugging away until we figure out what works best for Beyond Wrestling.
