Saturday, January 8th at 7:05 PM, the Danbury Whalers are home to take on the Rome Frenzy. It's Newtown Nighthawks Night where a portion of the ticket sales go to the benefit of the Newtown High School Hockey Program.
The night will focus on the needs of the Newtown High School Ice Hockey program and the growing challenge the group faces in meeting their budget each season.
The program for the night includes the Newtown Ice Hockey Booster Club providing fans with in seat food service and a Danbury Whalers experience auction.

The culmination of the night will be the auction of the official Danbury Whalers blue jerseys complete with the special edition Newtown Nighthawks patch on the chest.

The post game party on Saturday is at Two Steps Downtown Grill on 5 Ives Street in Danbury.
