Fitness Revolution Spin-a-Thon

On March 5th, spinning on stationery bikes will be more than just excerise. Fitness Revolution is once again hosting a Spin-a-Thon fundraiser to benefit Regional Hospice of Western CT, Inc. “Our event is a fun way to enjoy a work out and at the same time help the patients and families who benefit from Regional Hospice care,” says Danielle Elston, owner of Fitness Revolution.

The event features eight hours of spinning classes—$20 per class—do one hour or all eight. Pilates sessions on the equipment are also available for $30 a half hour or $60 for an hour. Raffle prizes add to the fun. Participants make a donation for each class or activity and are encouraged to get sponsors. Everyone who participates receives a goodie-bag with t-shirt, water bottle and towel.

Proceeds from the Spin-a-Thon will support the programs of Regional Hospice, a local not-for-profit agency that provides home care, hospice and community bereavement support. In the past year alone, Regional Hospice cared for more than 550 patients and their families, and provided grief support to more than 1,000 children, teenagers and adults though Healing Hearts.
