Members of the Brookfield based Housatonic Valley Paddle Club will be camping at the State Campgrounds At Lake Waramaug from 1:00 pm on June 17 to 11:00 am on June 19. We will be on and around site 59.
We have several scheduled paddling trips planned during the weekend. There will be a paddle at 6:00 am (after cowboy coffee) on Satuday morning and another at 7:00 pm in the evening dusk. A 6:00 am paddle is also planned for Sunday. Come watch the mist rise off the lake and "listen" to the silence along with the songs of nature as we quietly dip our paddles into the water.
We will be around all day so come join us and make some new friends---Our kayaks will be at the waters edge across from campground.
